Spiritual Armor

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand

Ephesians 6:11-13

A prayer for the whole armor of God as directed in Ephesians 6:14-18

Thank you, dear God, for giving me spiritual armor!

I put on the whole armor of God.

I gird my waist with truth, for Jesus is the way, truth and the life. (John 14:6)

I put on the breastplate of righteousness, for you alone are my righteousness. (1 Corinthians 1:30)

I shod my feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. (Matthew 4:23)

I take the shield of faith with which I am able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. (1 Peter 4:12)

I place upon my head the helmet of salvation, for You are my salvation. Whosoever calls upon the name of the LORD shall be saved. (Romans 10:13) I have the mind of Christ (1Corinthians 2:16)

and I pick up the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (Hebrews 4:12)

Lord, I thank you for these weapons are not carnal, but are mighty to the pulling down of strongholds; by them, I cast down imaginations that exalt themselves above the knowledge of God and bring every thought into the captivity of Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)
